Bert graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Political Science. He completed a SW Airlines MBA minority program. He is a former Director of the National Roofing Contractors Association as well as former member of RICOWI (Roofing Industry Committee On Weather Related Issues).
He is a second-generation roofer with more than 35 years of experience in the roofing industry. He has completed projects in more than 60 school districts in Texas and on military installations in Texas, New Mexico, Louisiana, Florida, North Carolina & Virginia He has also completed projects at both Kennedy Space Center in Merritt Island, Florida and Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX.
He has been a Zone leader at his church for several years, helping widows and single parents with small projects within their homes. He has been married to his wife, Lisa, for 36 years.
Richard was raised in a family construction business. Along with his three brothers they worked with Dad who was a 3rd generation master carpenter. Some of Richard’s early projects as a 12 year old were building yearly (before winter) tree houses or ground buildings, “Forts” as he and his friends called them. Complete with wood stoves (yes wood stoves, unbelievable they didn’t burn the forest down!). It was nice to come in after a day in the New England snow. Toasty. And having such a great hang out.
He went on to serve in the US Army and upon completion of his tour of duty married Linda – The loveliest women he ever met or seen! They now live in D/FW have three children Dr. Jeanette, Jacob, and Jonathan, wonderful daughter-in-loves along with 8 awesome grandchildren – all in D/FW area!
After marriage he started his own construction company, finished an Architectural degree at New England Institute of Technology. He Moved his family to Oregon Completing a second degree in Cross Cultural Communications at Corban University. He continued as a contractor in the Northwest for 20 years working in Oregon and Washington also in California and New Mexico. He later moved to Ft McCoy US Army Base four seasons training and deployment base in Sparta, WI. Richard served as Building and Structures Manager for the Army base including the base airport.
When his mission was complete at Ft. McCoy he and Linda moved to Texas where all their beautiful 8 grand kids live, and Nana and Papa pour love all over them. Richard continued contracting in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, and over the years has been involved with building subdivisions, custom homes/remodels, commercial builds, and Tenant Improvement. In addition to being a business owner, he served as Project Manager, liaison to architects/engineers, and lead design/build teams.
He has been a member of The Association of General Contractors in several states, served as Chaplain at Texco (Texas construction industry association) to sub-contractors. Richard held General Contractor Licenses in Washington, Oregon, California, and New Mexico. Richard and Linda serve at their church Gateway in Southlake, TX as teachers, prayer team, and pastors on call in the Care department.

A graduate of Wentworth Military Academy & College, he is always striving to be a servant leader.
He has 7 years of experience working in leadership positions in Area Supervisor and Human Resources with The Home Depot before joining Restoration Roofing.
He's been involved in multiple community projects/fundraisers. One of the projects was at the Boys and Girls Club in Waxahachie, TX. building a greenhouse from the ground up. Another project was in Dallas TX at Dallas Life, helping feed the homeless during thanksgiving. He's also helped coordinate multiple fundraisers for charities in the Dallas area. He's an assistant coach for U-8 Boys soccer in Arlington TX.
Paul has one son. He is two years old, and his name is Elijah Marquez. His favorite hobbies are spending time with his son, playing soccer, and playing disc golf. He also has a 2020 Toyota Camry that he loves and will not trade in for a truck!
Guillermo was born and raised in Monterrey, Mexico, with a dream of one day moving to the United States after completing his college education. He attended Tec de Monterrey and obtained a degree in mechanical engineering before embarking on his career in sales in Mexico. After gaining several years of experience, Guillermo applied for a working visa, which was ultimately approved.
In his free time, Guillermo enjoys two of his favorite hobbies, grilling and fishing.
Doug has been in Commercial & Residential Roofing since 1988. The majority of his experience involves insurance restoration due to Hail, Wind and Fire. He has also worked three major US Hurricanes: Hugo, Andrew & Katrina. He Graduated Summa-Cum-Laude from Texas A & M University with a degree in Horticulture Science. He has twins boys, 22 years old, and live in Lake Country Estates on Eagle Mountain Lake. He attends Gateway Church in North Richland Hills. “I Give God All the Glory”
